New Expanded Line of In-stock Lead Aprons from AttenuTech®

10/12/2022 – Lutz, Florida: Attenutech is there to always bring you the latest when it comes to safety protective gear and garments. We specialize in various Personal Protective Equipment to ensure that if you’re working in a hazardous environment or that if your patients need an extra layer of protection, they will have it.

With that said, we’ve recently expanded our line of available lead aprons, which are all currently in stock and ready to ship. What’s great about any of the three different options we have is that they are each fully customizable and built to fit whatever sizes and designs you may need to have them in. Part of our mission is to always refresh our current product catalog, and we are looking at always launching new products and collections in this field.

Lead Apron – Vest and Skirt

For those looking to get the Attenutech Custom Vest and Skirt apron, it can be built with four different fabrics either Polytron, PVC Easyclean, Nylon, or Ripstop. In addition, this can come in six totally different sizes from XS to XXL (S, M, L, and XL are the other sizes). Finally, for those curious about the core materials, you can go with lead-free or lightweight lead, as well as 0.35mm or 0.50mm PB lead equivalency. Regardless, this two-piece option passes ASTM F3094-14 standards.

The range of coverage with the first piece covers the front and back all the way down to the waist with excellent coverage of the torso. The skirt itself goes from the waist to right above the knee, giving that perfect specialized range of protection.

Lead Apron – Surgical Drop

Another excellent option suitable for both men and women is the custom surgical drop front apron. This is akin to an apron and offers maximum protection to the front part of the body from the top of the shoulders all the way down to the thighs. Again, there’s Velcro on the sides to easily secure the surgical drop and reduce the possibility of slippage. There are also shoulder pads to help with the weight, whether you get the lightweight lead or lead-free option.

It comes in similar sizes to the Vest and Skirt option above and also comes with ASTM F3094-14 ratings and options for either 0.35mm or 0.50mm Pb equivalency protection. The material options are also four, with either Nylon, PVC Easyclean, Ripstop, or Polytron.

Lead Apron – Jacket

Our final customizable option comes in the same size, material, and color as the previous options. Where it’s different comes from the design and shape. The Custom Jacket One Piece Lead Apron is a one-piece apron that wraps around the whole top portion of the body down to the thighs. It’s complete protection all around and has a back relief belt to help with handling the weight on top of the shoulder pads when it’s sitting on the patient. The strap itself locks in the front with a buckle.

Please note that for all the different lead apron options, the color options are all based on the material that is chosen. For example, the highly durable Ripstop material comes in nine different colors/patterns.
